Holy Week
Easter week in March or April.
This is the oldest and most traditional religious event, celebrated in the Old Town with processions during the whole week. On Good Friday Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno and Nuestra Señora de la Soledad , the oldest images of Marbella, are carried around the streets of Marbella, among the religious fervor of inhabitants and interested tourists.
The Fair day
June
Enjoy the street parties in squares and streets of the Old Town. Since the 11th century this has become an important day, as it is in homage of its patron saint San Bernabé.
Christmas
EnjoBeautifully decorated streets hold sales and various activities such as shop window competitions, Christmas carols and Nativity concerts.
New year’s eve
December 31st.
The Orange Square at midnight is a must for everyone on New Year’s Eve. “Grapes of Luck”, champagne, lots of fun and the typical churros and hot chocolate in the morning.
