Your vacation destination this summer is Marbella? You’ll surely already know that this beautiful city is a hotspot for high-net-worth clientele. And therefore boasts some of the best and most exclusive beach clubs in the Mediterranean.

What you may not have known… is that there’s now also an exclusive floating beach club in Marbella.

The first floating beach club in Europe

Yes, the first beach club is on the Costa del Sol, specifically in Marbella.

Puerto Banus definitely stands out for its very exclusive leisure offerings, whether it’s its famous beach clubs by day or its sparkling nightlife in the best clubs.

Well, one of these trendy clubs has combined the best of the sea, the best house music, and a very select and special setting.

Fancy a special party on the water?

It’s a boat anchored in the sea with walkways over the water with small inflatables (much like your Balinese bed reserved at a regular beach club) and, of course, there’s no shortage of DJs, entertainment, and all kinds of drinks.

The floating club boat departs every Sunday during the summer from the iconic Puerto Banus or Marbella Marina.

What’s also “interesting” is that the final location of the boat where the party will take place “is only revealed once on board,” according to the organizers.

But there’s also the option, as mentioned, to arrive by jet ski, swimming, or any other method you prefer. In the videos shared by Aura, you can see how they also carry bottles of alcohol to other boats on jet skis.

This collaboration between the Aura nightclub and the Ocean Suite Marbella boat service has been generating a lot of excitement since they began hosting this type of event every Sunday, with one of the most exclusive and unique parties around.

You can book for two different times: from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, or from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Another unique option – Barco Bar

While we were writing this article, we came across another quite unique offering in Marbella: Barco Bar (Boat Bar).

BarcoBar is currently the first and only floating sea bar on the Costa del Sol, created by its Dutch owner in 2023.

This “sea bar” can be seen from the beaches of Marbella between Puerto Banús and Playa de Cable, although its location will depend on sea conditions.

In any case, to get there, you’ll need water transportation like a jet-ski, boat, paddle board or anything else that floats because swimming will be too far. You can also contact them if you don’t have such a means, and they can arrange a water taxi for you or provide you with contacts for paddleboarding, kayaking, or jet ski rental companies.

Once there, you can anchor your watercraft next to the “island bar” and enjoy a refreshing cocktail and privileged views.
