Due to the geographical richness and the sift climate, it is possible to practice a wide variety of sports nearly throughout the year. In the municipality are many both public and private sports clubs and installations apart from a very good offer of open air activities and water sports such as biking, hiking, diving, sailing, fishing, tennis or horse riding.
Diving
Regarding the conditions for diving, the whole Malaga coast has a visibility of 7 to 10 metres and the best period for diving is the summer season, with temperatures that reach up to 24ºC.
All this coastal length, with a gentle slope, forms an immense and almost continuous beach of fine white sand, sometimes mixed with gravel and only interrupted by geographical projections such as the Punta de Calaburra and Cabo Pino.
