Añoreta golf is the first course to be designed by a spanish Ryder cup hero Jose Maria Cañizares and provides golfers with a good challenge in the form of water hazards at no fewer than 11 of its holes.
Particularly tough are the 528-metre 3rd hole, despite its spectacular views over the sea, the equally difficult 7th, the par four 8th with its tricky dogleg and a lake to the right of the fairway, and the unforgettable 17th hole where the green is surrounded by water on three sides.
