If you have not decided yet where to go next holiday, perhaps Malaga on the Costa del Sol is the best option. In this city you’ll find everything: art, architecture, delicious food, nightlife, sun and beach, music and dance, nature and more. The Costa del Sol is one of the major tourist destinations in Spain, located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in the south of the Iberian Peninsula.

Malaga overviewMalaga weather favors a multiplicity of outdoor activities. Since in Malaga there are over 300 sunny days a year even in winter you can enjoy warm days to be in short sleeves and enjoy a few hours on the beach; you can even see some daring tourists taking a bath.

But Malaga is not only beach: The Costa del Sol is renowned for having a large number of exclusive golf courses where have been taken place major international tournaments and where now starts the high season from October until April.

In Malaga city can be seen imposing historic buildings and museums; stroll through botanical gardens or enjoy a glass of wine in one of the many tapas bars. And the best: all of these sights are just a few feet away, so they can be visited on foot.

In the city centre are worth visiting the ancient cathedral, the neighborhood of La Malagueta, the episcopal palace, the Park of Malaga, the Bullring and Alameda Principal. As for the museums, do not miss the famous Picasso Museum and the Picasso birthplace. And of course, you shouldn´t either miss to visit the castle Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress palace of the 11th century overlooking the city, and the Roman theatre, built in the first century.
