The mountain city of Ronda is located in north western part of the province of Málaga, at a height of 739 meters over sea level and surrounded by mountains.

Ronda is situated on both sides of the deep gorge of the river Guadalevin, known as the Tajo de Ronda and due to its panoramic beauty and the great amount of historic buildings and monuments, the city receives a great affluence of visitors.

Ronda is one of the oldest cities in Spain and contains settlements from the Neolith epoch, roman remains and a great amount of Moorish vestiges.

The municipality is easily accessible by Car, bus and train. Ronda is 95 km away from Malaga and can be reached on the Motorway A-366 through the mountains.

An alternative route from Málaga runs along the mayor tourist resorts of the Costa del Sol on the A-397. (Distance from Malaga: 117 km, Torremolinos: 105 Km, Benalmadena: 94.5 km, Fuengirola: 90 km, Marbella: 60 km, Estepona: 66 km)
