Benagalbon
A dependency of Rincon de la Victoria, Benagalbon was formerly the dominant borough in the municipality, which also bore its name, until this status was conferred upon Rincon in 1950 in the wake of the latter’s development and growth. Today, Benagalbon is the area of Rincon de la Victoria that best conserves the spirit of the Axarquia, as, despite extensive modernisation, its atmosphere is still unmistakably characteristic of the aforementioned region.
