Route Sierra de las Nieves - Tolox - Cañada de las Carnicerías.
We start at Tolox walking along a track that makes its way nortwards although it soon turns eastwards in order to reach the Piloncillo through a valley where there is a brook called the Horcados.
Here we must walk on along the right side and we shall reach the foot of the Piloncillo, from where the lowest part of the valley can be seen.
We must walk on along the brook, in a landscape dominated by poplars and fir trees.
The course of the brook ends up in a smooth area from where
the Cañada de las Carnicerías can be seen.
