Route Comarca de Axarquía. Frigiliana- Sierra Almijara - Competa
This route lead us to the Sierra de Almijara, reaching a height of 2000 m.
We start leaving Frigiliana along a track situated north of the town wich makes its way to the mountains, towards the Pico de Navachica, 1832 m. high.
The track crosses the Fuerte hillock, leaving the Lucero, 1771 m. high, on the right.
After crossing river Torrox, a track to the left makes its way down to Competa.
The trekking route at this point has a wonderful perspective of the Axarquia area and the Mediterranean sea and villages
among the mountains
