Sierra Nevada is the southernmost ski resort in Europe. It was the site of the World Alpine Ski Championships from 11 to 25 February, 1996.
For more information, check out the official Sierra Nevada ski website, for information on ski-lift prices, piste conditions, apres-ski activities and much more. A very busy site packed with useful infomatio, another option for Sierra Nevada information. Both are available in English.
