Malaga airport train affected by two day strike

The Spanish labor commission has convened a two-day partial strike for today and next Thursday, September 29, against privatization. 134 high-speed trains and long distance will be out of circulation. As well will be affected the Malaga airport train linking Malaga airport and Fuengirola which will reduce its frequency to between 50 and 75%; thus the strike day on 26th will affect two hours of the morning shift – from 7 to 9 am – and another two in the afternoon – from 8 to 10 pm.

In regard to day 29, the strike will take place over four hours in the morning – from 11 am to 3 pm – and another four in the afternoon – from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Both strike dates will coincide with the indefinite strike maintained since last Sept. 22 by the pilots of Air Europa.
