Queens diamond jubileeBy now probably everybody in the UK is well aware about the special bank holiday to celebrate the Queen´s Diamond Jubilee: With the Whitsun bank holiday being moved to June 4th and the additional Jubilee bank holiday on June 5th, Brits can enjoy a long weekend.

While many will surely join the celebrations of the Queen, others might be wondering what to do during these four days. We tell you: Grab a cheap flight and escape to the sun and good weather on the Costa del Sol in Malaga!

Make the most of the extra June Bank Holidays: This time of year everything is cheaper: Flights, hotels and car hire in Malaga. In late May, early June we can enjoy the good things the Costa del Sol has to offer, but without the crowds typical of the months of high season.

The Costa del Sol is due to the mild climate a year-round destination. In general, we can especially recommend the spring months of April through June as the perfect travel time when you want to discover the surroundings, nature, villages or culture, combined with pleasant temperatures for sunbathing (yet, the water temperature is only for the brave!).

As the name suggests, Spain’s Costa del Sol has the best, most reliable and sunniest weather in the world. In the period between May and September, you will rarely or never see a grey sky and rain. In fact, sunburn is the only weather-related problem that you could get you here.
