A ‘Trade Fairs and Congress Centre’ by the sea in Benalmadena

Benalmadena’s port is one of the most beautiful and well-known ports in the whole province of Malaga, so, why not make good use of that outdoor space and turn it into a great exhibition centre? This is the idea that the Benalmadena town hall considered, which is why during this week they will be holding two parallel fairs dedicated to show all the innovations of the nautical world and of the construction and hardware sector.

The port’s deputy-councillor, was the person in charge of presenting these two fairs, who informed that the first exhibition, which was named the Trade and Exhibition Fair of Machinery and Construction Material, will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. It’s a specialised event in the construction world arriving for the first time in Andalusia, which is why it was organised with the collaboration of the company Big Mat. This way, the visitors will be able to see approximately 120 exhibitors with the best brands of construction material, although an exhibition area is also expected to be installed.

Salido pointed out that this event is held once a year in several capital cities all around Spain, which is why he was very satisfied that the Benalmadena Puerto Marina was chosen as an exhibition centre. He also highlighted the enormous influx of audience expected, as approximately 5.000 professionals are expected to assist, which will be an important boost for Benalmadena’s tourist sector. At the same time, as from Friday, the first edition of the Costa del Sol’s Nautical Fair will be held. An event dedicated to the exhibition and sale of new and semi-new boats. Around 3.000 squared metres of tents will be set up to shelter almost twenty stands where over 40 boats will be exposed. This way, the docks will be used to berth the much larger boats, to which they can be accessed to see them inside for free. This venue will be going on until the following 1st of May.
